Lets talk about me

     I'm a twenty-six year old living in the hills of East Tennessee. I've been involved in music for most of my life, starting off on my grandmother’s piano as a child. In the summer after my sophomore year of high school, I finally purchased my Tascam 24 track porta-studio and recorded my first song not long after, learning as I went. During my freshman year at MTSU, I realized that my chances of getting picked for the RIM (Recording Industry Major) program before my four years ended were slim to none. So, I moved back home and set up a makeshift studio in the corner of my room with my father’s old band equipment from the 80's and started recording full songs on my own. 
   

     I've always had to do everything without help, from writing/performing the music and lyrics to mixing and mastering the finished product. I also recorded these songs with mostly inadequate equipment (Ex. all the bass tracks are on an upside down Silvertone pawn shop bass), although I was grateful to have what I had. Every song on this website was recorded in this manner, with that being said I've never been satisfied with my finished products. Until now..
   

     Currently I am in the process of building a full size studio equipped with a live room, vocal booth, and control room  all built on a professional scale. While I patiently wait for material prices to drop so I can finish my beautiful studio, I've set up shop in my home! Fortunately for me, this time I have the opportunity to use some of the best gear you can get. Its been a leaning curve switching to a DAW and changing so many old recording habits, however the benefits and creative freedoms are insurmountable. So here we go, lets make some music, memories, and hopefully some friends along the way. 

Whether it is a verse in a song, or a simple melody, I really like to think that I could positively affect someone that I have never met and will probably never meet. We have all been moved by music in some manner, and I would love to be a part of that.
